favorite stationery items?

I thought of something fun to do on my blog that would keep me entertained for a while!

everyone and anyone can reboot this and/or comment with your favorite stationery items, whether you use them for school, bulletin journaling, or work!

I’ll start!

Zebra mildliners <3

Kokuyo campu binders and notebooks, grid paper tho as I’ve shifted away from using ruled/lined paper

Muji gel pens 0.5 (not the biggest fan of the 0.38 size)

Most gel pens in general

Brush pens! I’ve used zebra, tombow, etc

zebra milk gel pens (I think that’s what they’re called? They write so nice and the colors are so cute)

stabilo boss highlighters (pastel)

that’s all I can think of right now. But I am an avid stationery lover and collector. The bigger I can grow my collection the better!

so let me know what some of your guys favorite stationery items are! Ohhh and maybe mention your favorite websites and/or apps for buying stationery! I love kawaii pen shop and stationery pal!

In Need of Motivation 🎀

can anyone recommend some good studyspo YouTubers or just any studyspo content, study motivation advice and tips for right now?

I have homework and studying I need to work on but can’t find the motivation to move from my bed to my desk.

I might try a Study to Success video, or an old video from Studyquill.

also, I’m curious, what keeps you guys going to get some work done when you don’t feel like doing it? What sparks your productivity?

small break from my normal challenge posts to ask a question and get some feedback!

I’m going to start posting some language learning stuff and hopefully some study type content as well now that finals are coming up and during the following break I want to dive back into my language studies to keep my brain full of knowledge.

Can anyone recommend some resources and advice/tips?

I’m looking for (Mexican) Spanish learning resources, Japanese learning resources, and advice and tips on motivation to keep going with the language learning, some productivity and discipline tips, and just any advice and motivation you guys have in general? Even if it’s not language related and just school and study related, I would be so happy to hear from all of you guys!

I look forward to posting some more normal everyday content along side the study school and language stuff along with my challenge updates! I feel like I haven’t been keeping up with the normal content I want to post so I’m really looking forward to doing more of that now!

So yesterday was absolutely one of the most productive days I have ever had, and I swear I enjoyed it so much. I got so much done, so much planned out, and I'm super happy. I also just got paid, so I bought some Japanese language learning resources, some desk organizer stuff for my ne stationery, and... some more new stationery. I can't help it, I love it all!!

🩷 What I Ate Today -

Breakfast - small bowl of boiled frozen chicken dumplings

Lunch - Leftover homemade cheeseburger and fries

Dinner - Mac and Cheese, Quesadilla

Snacks - rest of Mac and cheese

Extra - 4 cups of coffee

It has been a struggle staying awake some days so I do tend to over indulge in my coffee. It's so yummy. I also bought a matcha set so maybe I'll learn to make my own matcha drinks now and I'll cut back on the coffee?

🩷 Personal Achievements -

Swept bedroom/bathroom

Replacd old carpets with new ones

Replaced old shower liner with new one

Replaced old fitted bed sheet with new one

Organized my desk more efficiently

Washed dishes

Dyed my hair a bit again

Did a load of laundry

Put away ALL laundry in room

Took my bedroom trash out

Studied Japanese 15 min

I got just about everything on my to do list done in my room yesterday! I am super proud of myself for getting it all done. None of it was hard or took long but I had been procrastinating it so I'm just happy it got done.

🩷 Academic Achievements -

Completed and passed NUTR Exam 1

Completed and passed Culinary Quiz Ch 6

Completed and submitted Meal Three Writing Assignment

I didn't do any note taking yesterday cause I was on a video call with my boyfriend for most of the day on my Ipad, and my ipad is how I take notes. Since I don't have much to do today, I figured it'd be a good time to take some notes, watch my lecture videos, and read some textbook chapters.

🩷 To Do List for Today -

Read Ch 11 for Personal finance class + take notes

Watch Fitness For Health and Sport online lectures + take notes

Complete my Sample Nutrition Log assignment + submit it

Study Japanese 15+ min

Clean Bathroom

Attend RD mentorship meeting

Therapy

Extra Credit Meeting + mini writing assignment

I don't want to have to do too much today because I do have three separate meetings to get done today, and I believe this meeting with my first RD mentor is going to kickstart this program for me and add more to my plate. I have a meeting with my second RD mentor next week, so my schedule is gonna get very busy.

This is a good motivational song for me to keep me on track with all my responsibilities. I love music so much, what would I do without it?

Today was...not the most productive day for me if I'm being honest. When I'm using my Ipad to video call my boyfriend, I can't take notes like I want to, so I end up feeling like I'm behind on my homework. I'm genuinely thinking about buying a second Ipad to keep my personal life and academic life separate. I have a 2nd Ipad, but it's with my boyfriend, 1000+ miles away. My university sells one online for 300$ USD so I might buy it when I get paid next week.

🩷 What I Ate Today -

Breakfast - leftover burritos with taco bell Diablo sauce

Lunch - spicy ramen with shredded fiesta blend cheese

Dinner - McDonald's

Snacks - one mint choco chip yasso bar, two cups of coffee with creamer

Not my healthiest eating day but I have been incredibly stressed so I turned to easy, greasy comfort food though all its done is upset my stomach. Tomorrow will be better.

🩷 Personal Habits/Goals I Achieved -

nightly skincare routine

studied Japanese for 10ish minutes

took out my bedroom trash

made a workout plan for the week

made a goal setting plan for working out

got in touch with one of my two assigned registered dietitian mentors

got my three week grown acrylics soaked off professionally

I'm hoping to implement the workout routine tomorrow, but I want to take it slow ish because I'm still recovering from a back injury and whiplash from last week so fingers crossed I don't irritate the injury! Also, I'm super excited to be a dietitian mentee. The one dietitian I'm in contact with currently is absolutely the sweetest!

🩷 Academic Achievements -

finished my Fitness For Health and Sport module 3 notes

posted my discussion post and one classmate response for the same course

completed and passed the module quiz for the same class

completed and passed my Food Fundamentals Chapter 5 Quiz

planned for the next few upcoming days

My job has me scheduled for ~35 hours Friday thru Monday, so I am going to be so tired this weekend, but I need the money because I have rent to pay, I want to buy a Genki 1 & 2 Textbook and Workbook + Answer key & hiragana/sentence chart (and some other resources), I want some more stationary, and I need to buy more groceries soon. I am also planning to buy another Ipad, and add some language app subscriptions to my arsenal of language resources for my lazy days.

🩷 Song of the Day - TT Japanese vr by Twice

I love that there are so many Japanese versions of kpop songs that I absolutely love, so this way I can passively listen to the language while enjoying music! There's also a ton of J-pop songs I'm currently in love with. Some of my favorite j-pop artists are liSa, Kenshi Yonezu, YOASOBI, Fuji Kaze, Suda Masaki, Ado, etc.

I did not workout today, I did not do morning skincare, and I did not make my bed. I am planning on getting back on track tomorrow. I appreciate this platform and my followers who help me want to stay on track. I appreciate all 300+ of you <3

Mini Update September 3rd, 2023 🎀

Hey girlies! I was genuinely planning on restarting my routine last week but I ended up falling really bad on Wednesday and ended up with a moderately injured lower back and shoulders, whiplash, a skinned right knee, right wrist pain, and I have had trouble walking due to my ankles being the reason why I fell in the first place. (thank you pink platform vans)

I have also had to work at my semi-physically demanding job while injured so I had to buy pain patches and a heating pad and pain medication. Safe to say I have not been having fun.

I am going to restart my morning routine, my skincare routine, and all of my current goals (including some new ones - I'll post an updated goals/routine list soon!) and I plan on starting all this tomorrow as it's the beginning of a month and tomorrow is a Monday so i feel like it's the right timing alignment to push me into gear!

I've honestly fell off of doing my skincare, journaling, workouts, and waking up early overall. So I'm going to start out small, and once I'm physically healed, I'm going to incorporate more workouts and movement into my routine. So for now, school, nutrition, and my health are still priorities but in a different plan of action!

Thank you, guys, for sticking by me through my periods of inactivity, but I check my app every day, and I really appreciate you guys!

this blog is going to be more active, and I think I'll start posting some studyblr content as well since I am a student and want to stay accountable for that too!

About me:

Fluent in English and ASL and learning Spanish

Favorite subjects are sciences and maths

I hope to go into a career in astrophysics or biology

Tech theatre nerd 

Love books, reading, learning, drawing/painting, science etc

I love aesthetic notes but I have a hard time making my own nice and neat

I have awful handwriting

Started a bullet journal 

I am also a trans guy and my pronouns are he/him/his

study/diary post

general - motivation is something i’m really lacking, mock exams for sociology and french are in jan starting the week of jan 17th - i’m also expected to prepare myself and write applications and such for mock interviews with real employers. it’s weird because i don’t feel old enough to be doing these things, i’m not sure if that’s because of covid or if it’s due to other reasons. times passing awfully fast but slow at the same time?

english - i need to start going through macbeth which has already proven to be a challenge, shakespeare really isn’t my forte - language is something i’m really struggling on too - when it comes to timing and reading questions properly and not panicking - a christmas carol, lord of the flies and macbeth are the three books that will be covered in the literature exam - i hope i’ll be able to go through macbeth and completely memorise all three by march

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!! last night (or rather early this morning) I had a cute small interaction with the first blog I ever followed here on tumblr years ago and was so starstruck I didn't sleep for an hour lol. this is kinda silly but i'd like to think it was the worlds little christmas present to me, cheering me up in these crappy times. since i don't celebrate i'm probably just gonna binge movies as there are lots streaming on tv today and i'd like to get started on some movie reviews that'll be gradually posted in the upcoming weeks so look forward to that! in honour of today, i also plan on finally reading A Christmas Carol in its entirety and also for the sake of revising for literature and being somewhat productive today. as of tomorrow, I plan on revising for my upcoming sociology and french exams in late jan/early feb as well as catching up on literature. although languages and shakespeare don't exactly come easy to me so we'll need motivation for that! - i'll be sure to post about it and keep you updated! while writing this post i also came across the new beta editor and so far its pretty cool! i hope you liked this amalgamation of a studyblr/diarypost?! see you soon! until next time!  ~ Amimi

not me reblogging this so i can take my own advice, kind of in a quarantine slump right now and online lesson isn’t the best - yesterday was literally the last day of online school so i’m planning to use the holiday as time to catch up and submit work that i’ve missed. wish me luck! 

what do you mean it’s half term break?

bruh, do your work to *the best of your ability* and then enjoy your break, we don’t like slackers who do everything last minute (remember to take breaks inbetween short periods of working)

Today wasn’t great but I still got a lot done! I finally did some writing that I’ve been putting off but the deadline is in a few days and I’m not sure if I’m going to finish in time... it’s really annoying because I really didn’t mean to procrastinate this long :/

21st July - What is the best vacation you have ever been on? (note: does not have to have been during summer)

Ah, October a couple of years ago we went to America and it was amazing, we went to Disneyland and saw my aunts and uncles that live there. There were so many amazing coffee shops and I tried a cake shake which was literally a milkshake blended with a cupcake 🧁 I really enjoyed myself then 💫✨

Today was okay :) I was feeling super run down so I didn’t get as much done as I’d have liked to but I still accomplished lots from my to do list! I’m going to go to bed early and get up at seven tomorrow in order to get some extra stuff done ☺️

18th July - What do you usually do during the summer?

Well, normally I sleep until noon and do absolutely nothing except eat so I’m hoping to make this summer the exception! I’d really like to be productive and active this summer instead of wasting it away sitting on the sofa. I think I’m doing alright so far! ☺️🌿

Today went well! I got a ton of stuff done and was really pleased with myself ☺️ I kind of overslept this morning but not by much so I wasnt too thrown off ☺️✨🌿

13th July -  What are your plans for this summer?

There’s still a chance we could go on holiday! We booked ours for the very end of August so it’s still possible as long as we take correct procedures. I’ll also try to meet up with friends and get some back to school shopping done ☺️✨

Wasn’t doing too great today, I allowed myself to take some time this evening to make peppermint hot chocolate and to just to calm down.

Not much done today but I really needed to recuperate and get focused for the rest of the week.
