We’ll get the bastard who did this to you. Jared: Don’t, Frida. Don’t tell the cops about the money. They can’t know. Frida: What? Why not? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not fond of cops, but… do you know something, Jared? Jared: I don’t know anything—and neither do you, understand? Frida: But— Madison: Oh my god, Jared!

Thoughts/Notes

I actually thought about omitting this part because I don't want to scare anyone off. 😬

I will admit, this turned out to be a bit heavier/more dramatic than I intended. 😅 Sorry for the slightly darker themes than usual, but I felt like it was important to share a glimpse into Jared’s troubled backstory before going forward. He has a very deep sense of guilt and shame instilled within him that has tailed him most of his life as a result of his mother's death and his father's mistreatment of him (and it definitely plays a big role in his behavior).
