Pumpkin Pudding (revisted)

Pumpkin Pudding (revisted)

Ingredients:

½ cup splenda

2 tablespoons cornstarch

½ cup of pumpkin puree

1 & ¾ cup light soy milk (either plain or vanilla)

pinch salt

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon allspice (or pumpkin pie spices)

whipping cream (optional, use soy whipping cream for vegan)

Handful walnuts chopped and 1 tablespoon maple syrup as optional garnish

Directions:

This is a very easy recipe to make. I used ½ of a small uchi kuri pumpkin (also known as Hokkaido) for the puree. As it was organic, I merely cut it in small pieces and steamed it. Within 5-6 minutes it was soft enough to puree. But canned pumpkin puree is also fine for the recipe.

Combine the sugar and cornstarch in a small bowl.

In a medium saucepan, heat the soy milk carefully, stirring constantly to make sure it does not scald.

Add the sugar and cornstarch mixture and stir well to mix.

Add the pumpkin puree and stir well.

Add the seasonings, salt and vanilla as well as spices.

As the mixture becomes thick and bubbly, stir well, and remove from the heat.

Pour into 4 parfait glasses.

Place in the refrigerator to chill for half an hour to 2 hours.

Garnish the pudding with a dollop of Soyatoo soy whipping cream and a few chopped walnuts with maple syrup.

145 Calories for entire recipe, but makes four servings, 36 Calories each (not including optional toppings). 7 net carbs.

3/8/21 ♡ vegetarian chick'n alfredo [200]

3/8/21 ♡ Vegetarian Chick'n Alfredo [200]

1 tsp vegetable oil [20]

1/4 inch slice of onion [15]

1/2 gardein chick'n scallopini piece [55]

1/4 cup basil alfredo sauce [100]

1/2 package fettuccine tofu shirataki noodles [10]

(optional) garlic pepper, salt and black pepper to taste

next time i'm going to try pam sauté spray since it's zero calories, and maybe a tbsp less of the alfredo since there was more sauce than i expected. if i made these changes it would bring the calorie count down to 155! it was super good and filling so im excited to put it in with my "safe" meals. i may go back and add the directions later if they're wanted ♡

Made A Moussaka Worth Shouting About Because It’s Really Low Cal And Super Filling

Made a moussaka worth shouting about because it’s really low cal and super filling

This did 4 portions and I’ll do the calories for one dinner at the end.

Pulse mushrooms and garlic; cook in a pan with diced onion and carrot - cook in water (oil is unnecessary). Once soft, add the mince and brown. Make up and add beef stock. Put in the cubed potatoes. Add the peas and seasonings and leave to simmer for around 25 minutes.

In a different pan, dry fry the sliced aubergine until it’s softish.

To make the cheese sauce, add a tub of quark to a pan on a low heat with nutmeg and cinnamon. Let simmer then turn off the heat.

Put the mince mix in an oven proof tray. Layer on the aubergine. Spread on the cheese sauce. Grate the cheese on top.

Cook for 30 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.

1 garlic clove 4cal

1 1/2 mushrooms 6cal

1/4 onion 10cal

1/4 carrot 6cal

63g 5% lean beef mince 77cal

1/2 beef stock cube 9cal

1/4 cup peas 28cal

100g potatoes 82cal

1tbsp oregano, 1tbsp pepper, 1tsp salt, 1tbsp cumin 17cal

1/4 aubergine 33cal

63g quark 41cal

10g cheddar cheese 39cal

Total 352 cal

You don’t actually need the potatoes, or the cheese; I was cooking for more than just me so I had to be calorie conscious to not underfeed them

34 calorie apple pie pancake recipe

HELLO Y'ALL, since my low cal pizza recipe was a success i decided to post another one of my go-to recipes!

Disclaimer: i do not encourage eating disorders, i am not a nutritionist whatsoever, but i have studied nutrition for five years so i’ll give you some tips to curb cravings without guilt

Another disclaimer: i did not steal this recipe, i was fucking around in the kitchen one day and found this gem and after a while i decided to post it here :)

ok so first of all you’ll need

34 Calorie Apple Pie Pancake Recipe

1 tbsp of sweetener (0 cal)

2 tbsp of flour (52 cal)

2 tbsp of oats (76 cal)

1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar (5 cal)

0.3 tsp of cinnamon (3 cal)

0.3 tsp of ginger (3 cal)

5 tbsp water (0 cal)

After mixing all dry ingredients add the wet ones (i usually eyeball this part but by measuring it should be around 5/6 tbsp of water and depending on how strong is the apple taste of your vinegar you may want to change the measurements a bit)

34 Calorie Apple Pie Pancake Recipe

it should have this consistency

34 Calorie Apple Pie Pancake Recipe

then cook them like normal pancakes, by flipping them when u see bubbles on the surface

34 Calorie Apple Pie Pancake Recipe

if you don’t use oil don’t forget to use a non-stick pan or else you’ll just have a giant delicious mess

34 Calorie Apple Pie Pancake Recipe

and voila! as you can see, they’re super easy to make and totally guilt-free!

34 Calorie Apple Pie Pancake Recipe

the whole batch is just 137 cal, so one pancake is just 34 calories!

now, for the useful tips:

oats have a little bit more calories but since they have a lot of fiber they’ll make you feel full for longer

when you restrict a lot your insulin levels are all fucked up, so please, if you have 50 spare calories, swap the sweetener for real sugar, it will give you a bit of energy and curb the sugar craving while still being rly low cal overall

binges happen bc you lose control over ur cravings, so to take the power away from food try incorporating everyday some foods that you usually crave (e.g. since i often crave sweet stuff and pizza i eat these pancakes and my low cal pizza basically everyday), since i started doing this i haven’t basically binged!! (and i’m bulimic so… yeah that says a lot)

🌸 100 calorie spaghetti 🌸

🌸 100 Calorie Spaghetti 🌸

Hey guys c:

I thought I’d share my recipe for spaghetti in tomato sauce with you which I’m absolutely in love with. I can finally enjoy some spaghetti without regretti (I’m sorry).

I hope you enjoy it as well!

It makes one serving and it’s only 98 calories in total!

🌸 100 Calorie Spaghetti 🌸

Ingredients

200g shirataki noodles (you can get those in Asian supermarkets) ~19 kcal

5g garlic ~7 kcal

70g onion ~20 kcal

200g diced tomatoes ~50 kcal

some seasoning (I added salt, pepper, chili, frozen basil & parsley) ~2 kcal

🌸 100 Calorie Spaghetti 🌸

Instruction

Rinse your shirataki noodles and put them into a non-stick frying pan. Don’t add anything else yet, we want to dry the noodles a bit to get rid of their rubber-ish texture.

In the meantime you can dice the onions and mince the garlic.

When the noodles start to shrink, you can add the garlic and the onions. Stir it from time to time and be careful to not burn them!

I usually take half of the tomatoes and blend them with an immersion blender so the sauce will be a bit creamier. I then mix the diced tomatoes and the blended ones together and add the seasoning.

When the onions start to turn a bit yellow/brown-ish you can add the sauce.

Let it cook for about 4 minutes and you’re done!

I hope you guys enjoy the recipe as well! I also made a 100 calorie stir-fry recipe.

Here's the scientific formula to work out how many calories you burned while exercising:

Duration of the exercise (minutes) ×MET of the activity×your weight (kg) ×3.5

Then you divide the answer of the above calculations by 200

The MET is the metabolic equivalent of the exercise you're doing, so Google the METs of the exercise you're doing and sub the number into the formula

Here's an example of an hour of intense boxing:

60×7.8×53.3×3.5= 87 305,4

87 305,4 ÷ 200= 436 calories burned

Here's a link to a website that lists the METs of different activities:

Golf
Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) values are a way to estimate how many calories are burned during a specific physical activity, according

if you’re a salty (and cheesy 🥺) snacker like i am, check your local baby food aisle for these!

they’re perfect for satisfying your cravings and the entire can only has 210 calories, so it’s way safer to binge on these compared to actual cheetos or something.

they have other flavors other than mild cheddar if you’re not into cheesy things!

anti-binge guide

when you feel a craving coming on:

drink a glass or two of water, slowly

have a piece of fruit, like an apple

make some warm herbal tea with natural sweetener

go for a long walk or hike, put your earphones in and clear your head - walk with a friend if you’d prefer

if you’re still craving the food, have the tiniest bit of it, no more than a bite, and have another glass of water

distractions:

watch a long movie or start a new show

study! complete homework or begin revising for exams

write down your own thinspo imagines

do some online window shopping and look at all the outfits you want to wear at a smaller size

make your own thinspo playlist

do some yoga or meditation

things to keep in mind:

you already know what your favourite foods taste like - you don’t need to eat them again in bulk

imagine the amount of progress you’ll make tomorrow if you exercise self control right now

the shame and guilt that follows a binge is not worth it

the physical pain and exhaustion is not worth it

you’re not just affecting your weight, you’re affecting your overall health, your mental well-being, your skin

binging means you’re wasting your time when you could be doing something much more productive

88 calorie “pizza”

88 Calorie “pizza”

So this actually tastes pretty good, or maybe it’s just because I’ve been craving pizza and haven’t had any in so long. But I figured I’d share it with you guys bc a lot of the low cal pizza recipes I find are 200+ calories.

Ingredients:

• 1 piece of Sara Lee’s 45cal bread (45cal)

• 2 Tbsp Contadina pizza sauce (15cal)

• 2 ½ Tbsp fat free mozzarella (28cal)

*I used multigrain bread but they also have wheat bread for the same number of calories.

*The pizza sauce I got comes in a squeeze bottle so it keeps well in the fridge and it’s easy to use for small servings like this.

Directions:

All I did was toast the bread in a toaster, spread the pizza sauce on the bread, then sprinkled the cheese on top and I microwaved it for 30 seconds to melt the cheese and warm the sauce up. The bread got a little chewy from the microwave but to avoid that you can use the oven instead! Just place it on the rack or a baking sheet until the cheese melts.

Enjoy! 💗
