Avery climbed out of her hot shower and changed into something more cozy before she made herself comfortable on her couch with a cup of wine. Grabbing her laptop, she continuing working on the photos she started before her shower. Lifting the glass to her sip, she froze in place when she heard her name being sung outside her apartment. Terribly. Setting her laptop and wine on the table, she got up and walked over to her door. Opening it, she found a very drunk Leo on the ground singing. The more he sang, the more she knew there was going to be complaints from her neighbors. “Okay time to go inside.” She pulled him up, guides him inside and sat him down on the couch. She hurries to grab a cup of water then returns. “What is going on?” She asked curious as to why he was so drunk and showed up at her place, placing the water in his hand to drink. “Drink up.”

Leo would never singing while drunk. He never did. Though there was one instance with some modern Hugh Hefner at the drive bar on the ninth. But that's another story. Suddenly in the middle of his performance, he saw the inside of Avery’s apartment; though it was upset down. He grumbled since his loud singing no longer tickling his fuzzy mind. “Avery!” He exclaimed as she pulled him upright, barely recognizing her presence. He smiled following her with remissed moment. He fell carelessly onto the couch but he practically melted into the cushions. “Nothing much.” He responded with a burp just as she left him. Leo takes the glass and drinks it, expecting the clear liquid to be vodka. He made a face after his sip of water. “Gross,” He breathed when he realized it was water.

complain, complain, and complain is all leo wanted to do right at this very moment. he found solace complaining over his life with a glass in his hand at his favorite spot on the ninth. ah, he was waiting for the sweet relief that would come to sliding himself in his seat with his usual order waiting for him. but today’s extra curricular activities just had to wait. he had a new client that absolutely had to be seen today.
all he could do was clench his jaw as he fought the desire to abandon the empty class room that was dubbed as his office today. his foot began tapping away as he sat inncorrectly on a student’s desk. his behind was perched on the headrest and his feet flat on the seat. he was hunched over, lost in the vision of elsewhere, till a quiet scuffle made him turn around.
leo sighed, seeing the combination of big blue eyes and blonde hair. another pretty young thing to surpass him in life. fantastic, he grumbled in his head. he cleared his throat before greeting her, his voice coming out warmer than his own thoughts. “Hey there, are you,” he turned to grab the resume that was on the desk. lifting up the page as he turned back towards her, he questioned, “Deliah Roche?” @itsdelilahroche

Blake looked at him with a confused if still fearful expression on her face, because he was obviously still angry. She’d seen what he was capable of - to some degree, and didn’t feel like finding out anymore. Still the woman couldn’t help but ask the first question that came to her mind. “And what would grabbing me have changed if it was your baby? Hmm? It wouldn’t have changed anything.” ‘It would kill my wife’ those words were crystal clear evidence of what side of the fence he stood regardless of his cheating because at no point had he shown any concern for her or the baby. Before or after finding out the supposed paternity of it. If anything he had shown concern for himself ahead of anyone else, even if he claimed it was for his wife. Maybe it was a good thing that she’d not told him earlier in her pregnancy because of her fear he would reject their child because he’d done that before he’d even known if he was the dad. “No, I can imagine if she knew that would make things very difficult for you.” The woman muttered.

“I’m sorry, but If you hadn’t kept your condition a secret then, I wouldn’t have drawn to conclusions.” He said with his voice deepening with icy inflictions. He even pointed at his chest. Leo would always blame someone else for his faults. Especially, if his reactions weren’t warranted. No, only when his actions were praised would he ever own up to himself. But he was truly scared. Being caught was his worst fear because he knew what it meant. Knew what he had to lose and he was happy just right where he was. He listened to her, her words forming a mirror in which he could see his selfishness. But that wasn’t new to the Brooklyn orphan. “Imagine what you want, Blake, but don’t act like you didn’t have a hand in it too.” His voice dropped and but his gaze on her face was impassioned. So many times he had used his body to please hers, and not a single protest or worry over his wife were made during those times.
