Sony has lost its patience to present us brand new flagship Xperia Z3

It seems like only few months ago Xperia Z2 started invading the store shelves and now Sony has released their next follower from Xperia series range, which is actually being performed according to astonishing statements of Sony Creative Director to launch a new flagship every 6 months.

The purpose of such rush is a simple intention to create the leader and maybe even to improve the position on world market. Such new strategy makes Sony a company involving more Hi-tech technologies today for every new smartphone, which should be noticed by every common user.

The Xperia Z3 comes with a 5.2-inch TFT LCD screen sporting a resolution of 1920х1080 pixels and a powerful Snapdragon 801 CPU, at 2.5GHz accomplished with 3GB of RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, a main 20.7MP camera with 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor and G Lens and a 2.2-megapixel camera on the front panel. The Sony Xperia Z3 features a 16GB of internal storage plus a microSD card slot, 3100 mAh battery and Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box.

The Z3 will come in white, black, copper, and silver green body colors. It will be waterproof up to a depth of 2 meters. The Xperia Z3 should appear on market shelves globally this autumn with price tag around $850.

Asus reduced the price for a new Android Wear SmartWatch

Asus, a Taiwanese leading computer manufacturer offers to consumer a new Android Wear Smartwatch which coming this September with more reasonable price than Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 and Motorola Moto 360 that have already glistened..

Asus releases their SmartWatch later than the bustlers mentioned above, giving it a code name “Robin” - and not just for aimless shooting, but equipping it with AMOLED display and stating that it’s going to be the flattest device of such design.

And if you ask what else unique is designed in Asus Smartwatch, do not hesitate to meet there a Heart Rate Monitor, which was omitted by already released LG G Watch due to time frames they were obliged. Pricing for the device will likely be between $99 and $149, which is $50 less than the mentioned above rival.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact leaked

The last Sony's Compact came quite close to the flagship. As you know, in late August before the exhibition IFA, a new flagship Xperia Z3 will be presented. It seems like on this event its little brother will peep as well.

The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is rumored to come up with breathtaking colors acting on 4.5-inch display, though the resolution is limited to 720p only, but a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM are hidden inside and a 20.7 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera accomplishes the set on the back side. Front of Z3 Compact owns a 2.1 megapixel Sony Exmor R camera. We expect the device to come with a range of storage 16GB / 32GB / 64GB, plus a microSD card slot, which should support cards up to 128 GB.

There are no more details about version of operating system, although as the device is expected to launch at IFA 2014 it could end up with Android 5.0 L under the hood. It all still depends on when Google will release Android-5.0. Sony has not given any evidence regarding the pricing policy yet, but the maker is expected to announce a price tag of compact Xperia Z3 within next few months.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is now official

It seems like Samsung has completely revealed all details. In earlier known specifications there were some changes and they are waving in front of us with new details about Galaxy Note 4 right now.

The Galaxy Note 4 will come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display at a demented resolution of 2560x1440 pixels (515 ppi). Inside of the body itself the quad core 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or eight core Samsung Exynos 5433 processors by choice, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal memory for both models will be located. Amazon Fire Phone burns with goodies

Amazon slashed the price of its 64GB Fire Phone to $100 with a two-year contract, down from $300. Off contract it costs is $649.99 and $749.99 respectively.

Nikon has introduced a new full-frame DSLR camera

Nikon has announced a new digital SLR camera format FX. The novelty has become an extension of models of Nikon D800 and D800E and received the designation Nikon D810.

The camera uses a new image sensor with a resolution of 36.6MP, and the sensitivity level of ISO 64-12800 is the first time in DSLR Nikon cameras. Minimum shutter speed is 1/8000s. Nikon says it's designed to produce an outstanding picture clarity and rich tones, using a wide dynamic range of the sensor, especially since it works in tandem with the EXPEED 4 processor. Burst speed is increased from 4 to 7 frames per sec, for recording movies in the Full HD (1080p) D810 camera offers up to 60 f / s.

AF System Nikon Multi-CAM 3500FX 51-point has also inherited from D800 and D800E models. The camera is equipped with an optical viewfinder with 100% frame coverage, that is reciprocally incorporated with 3.2-inch OLED display which has a resolution of 1,229,000 pixels. Samsung Gear Live smarwatch gets official

Samsung has not too long ago announced their another Android smartwatch. The Samsung Gear Live has a similar design to the Samsung Gear 2, but with Android Wear as its operating system.

This SmartWatch comes with a 1.63-inch touch screen with a resolution of 320x320, and is powered by a 1.2GHz processor. It also has a 512MB of RAM, 4GB of included storage and a 300mAh battery. Samsung Gear Live uses Bluetooth that will connect it with Android smartphones running under Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or later version. When connected, it can display calls, messages, notifications and other information on the smartwatch without the need of taking out your smartphone from your pocket.

Samsung interested to win against Motorola Moto 360 SmartWatch in this market. Now the company offers interchangeable 22mm straps in two different colors Black and Red, also very looks interesting the price of about $160.

NVIDIA Shield 2 console may launch in July

In October last year, CEO of NVIDIA, Jen-Hsun Huang San said that the second version of the portable game console Shield is under construction. According to the published drawing, NVIDIA Shield 2 received some exterior changes and will be a little thinner than its predecessor.

Today, this device codenamed NVIDIA P2570 has successfully passed certification of the Federal Agency of Communications (FCC). According to recent information NVIDIA Shield 2 will be powered by the new NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with a clock speed of 2.5GHz, GeForce GPU, 4GB of RAM and it will come with 16GB of built in storage. The game console also will feature a new 5-inch display with a resolution of 1440x810 pixels and OS Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

We've heard rumors about the launch of the new NVIDIA Shield 2. The company may announce it globally on the 22nd of July, but this date is not official yet.

Apple released its cheapest iMac

Apple has launched their cheapest iMac PC to date. The new 21.5-inch machine with a new processor comes in a full $200 cheaper than the previous low-end model.

That new model is cheaper due to suppression of quad-core processor dual-core CPU and cut in half the space of hard drive. So a new iMac comes with a 1.4GHz dual-core IntelCore i5 chip and Turbo Boost, that offers speeds of up to 2.7GHz, 8GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 5000 and a 500GB hard drive. It can be upgraded by using 1TB Serial ATA drive for $50, a 1TB Fusion Drive for $250, or a 256GB FlashDrive for an additional $250.

Other Apple's all-in-one 21.5-inch desktops has unchanged configurations, keeping about $200 of savings. Also there are no changes to the 27-inch iMac range, the previous models are the same, but Apple has not changed pricing politics on these PC. They plans to update the rest of iMac range and to launch a Retina display soon.

As all other current iMacs, it has a thin design, OS X Yosemite, Wi-Fi, two Thunderbolt ports, four USB 3.0 ports, iLife, iPhoto, iMovie, iWork suite of Pages, Numbers and Keynote. The new 21.5-inch iMac is available now in the UK and US for £899 and $1099 respectively.

The new generation of HP Chromebooks

HP has launched a new versions of its Chromebooks. The sleek design, high performance, auto sync of data and thousands of applications will emphasize your unique personality.

The next-generation HP Chromebooks includes a 11-inch, 1.7GHz Samsung Exynos 5250, 16GB eMMC Chromebook and Chromebook 14. The last one is equipped with 14-inch display, an Intel Celeron 2955U processor and 16GB solid-state drive. Both models has 1366x768 pixels on the screen, 100GB of Google Drive Storage, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. However the HP Chromebook 14 is more interesting because got a built-in 4G, Intel HD Graphics and additional 2GB of RAM. Outside, 14-inch model features a 2xUSB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, 3-in-1 card reader, against 2xUSB 2.0 on the body of HP Chromebook 11. Battery life of Chromebook 14 is 9.5 hours while Chromebook 11 extinguishes after 6.5 hours of web surfing. The 14-inch model loses on the scales 4.07lb (1.85kg) versus 2,69lb (1.22kg), but this is not so important.

Much more significant is the price of $299 for HP Chromebook 14 with 2GB of RAM. The HP Chromebook 11 costs $280.

Samsung has launched a new Galaxy W phablet

The distinctions between phones and tablets is already blurred. Today, a new gen of Galaxy W phablet collects them together. No doubt that this device is a compact combination of the two virtues in one.

The new Galaxy W blends the 7-inch display with a resolution of 720p (1280×720), quad-core processor 1.2GHz Cortex-A9, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 8MP rear camera and a 2MP camera in front. This phablet also has OS Android 4.3, however it can be upgraded to version 4.4 in the future.

There's no more details about launch date outside Korea. The Samsung Galaxy W is available now for $490, but US carriers continues to ignore this device category.

Asus has launched a new inexpensive Chromebook

Microsoft unveiled a new tablet Surface Pro 3

Microsoft released a new Surface Pro tablet. Quotha, the company proves for the third time that they can create devices not just for content consumption but also to create it.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a 12-inch touch screen that will support a resolution of 2160x1440 pixels. Tablet will be equipped with an Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 if you want, an 4/8GB of RAM and 256GB of solid-state storage plus MicroSD card slot. Xiaomi has created cheapest 4K Android TV

New generation of Google Glass in the works

Now Google is working on a new version of Google Glass, and this device will apparently also use technology from Crystal Optech. According to a recent report Kong Wenjun its company has already provided first samples to Google’s R&D team.

Google has already certified Optec's Liquid Crystal On Silicon (LCOS) micro display, expects for official confirmation an 8MP and a new Glass Software. Other specifications of Google Glass 2 of  is still unknown at this point, so we can unleash the imagination about new features that it might bring.

Probably, we won't hear a lot of official words about it in the near future. After all, the original Glass is still fully to the end of the year or as long as they liberate out all stock of the existing Glass. The access to the Google Glass 2 can remains unchanged - $1500.

LG has announced the launch of three new LG G Pad tablets. That range will include the LG G Pad 7.0, the G Pad 8.0 and the G Pad 10.1. Each of them pursues its own target audience by offering the best multimedia experience in its class.

LG will not produce the tablets one size fits all. So they designed the G Pad series to really meet the factual requirements and not to excite the imagination by excessive specifications. The details of the performance will be disclosed on MedPI 2014 in Monaco between the 13th and 16th of May. What we do know is that it will come with LG’s UX user interface and KnockCode unlock system.

Based on the official pictures, we can guess that the tablets will likely receive a plastic case, a rear camera and a few buttons on screen.

LG has announced a three new LG G Pad tablets

Lenovo has announced N20 and N20p Chromebooks

Lenovo has announced the launch of two consumer Chromebooks. The Lenovo N20 has a more traditional design while the N20p model attracts the most technologically advanced users.

The main distinction of Lenovo N20p is a 300-degree hinge that allows the screen to be turned around for using the notebook in touchscreen mode, but the display can't fold back entirely for use as tablet. Both models are equipped equally.

Samsung opened Galaxy Tab S

Samsung has two new tablets which will be belong to the next Samsung Galaxy Tab generation. As expected the new devices will come with an identical WQXGA resolution for two different display sizes.

Mini version of Galaxy S5 will be water-resistant

Samsung's latest flagship smartphone Galaxy S5 is already on sale around the world. At the same time the company works on the miniature version of the device to go up against the HTC M8 Mini and Sony Xperia Z1 Compact at the market of mini-flagship smartphones.

As expected the Galaxy S5 Mini is not very different to what we heard earlier. It will feature a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels (pixel density: 326ppi), 16GB of internal storage with a MicroSD slot that support the cards of up to 32GB and 1.5GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will receive a quad-core chipset 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 8MP rear camera and a 2MP camera in front.

Mini-flagship has got a 2100mAh battery, Google OS Android 4.4.2 KitKat with TouchWiz UI on top of it. For the New Zealand market the handset also got IP67 certification that will make the device water-resistant at least in that region. Samsung launched the mini version of their Galaxy S5.

Samsung has launched a new Chromebook

Samsung has announced the launch of the second-generation notebook series Chromebook. Chromebook 2 has become more productive, long-playing and more interesting in its capabilities. It will be available in two configurations of the screen: 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch.

The vivid advantages of the devices that based on Chrome OS from Google includes a regular automatic updates, many different features and ease of working. In addition, the Samsung Chromebook Series 2 comes with preinstalled software package worth more than $100.

Both models are equipped with SoC Exynos 5 Octa which consists of eight processing cores, united by ARM big.LITTLE architecture that using the process technology Super Low Power 28-nm High-K Metal Gate. 13.3-Inch Chromebook 2 boasts Full HD (1920x1080) screen and a 4GB of RAM, while the 11.6-inch model has a resolution of 1366x768 pixels and 2GB of RAM.

Both Chromebooks are equipped with eMMC iNAND 16GB of internal memory, HDMI, USB 2.0/3.0, slot MicroSD, two speakers rated at 2 watts and a 720p (HD) web camera. Claimed battery life is 8 hours.

13.3-inch Chromebook 2 costs $399.99, the 11.6-inch model has a $319.99 price tag.

Motorola Moto G LTE coming in June

Motorola has prepared the new LTE version of the Moto G. It comes with the similar specifications as existing model, although the some minor changes occurred.

Now, Motorola Moto G will be equipped not only LTE, but also 16GB of built-in storage. The other specifications, as expected, remain the same.

HTC has launched new Desire 610

The smartphone HTC Desire 610 was announced in the beginning of the this year at Mobile World Congress. For meet the needs of middle-class smartphone market HTC offers the best-in-class specs without having to compromise on quality.

Unlike HTC Desire 816 which also was announced in February, the handset Desire 610 comes with a 4.7-inch display that has a resolution of 960x540 pixels, a quad-core 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 400, a graphics accelerator Adreno 305 and 1GB of RAM. The device features 8GB of built in storage and a MicroSD slot for additional storage cards up to 64GB.

The HTC Desire 610 also has a 8MP rear camera with an LED flash, HDR, auto focus, face detection and Geo tagging. For video calls in front located a 1.3MP camera. Other specifications include a WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 4G LTE, a mUSB port and a 2040mAh battery. HTC will set a Google's mobile OS Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and HTC Sense 5.5 user interface.

Toshiba's first 4K touchscreen laptop arrives

Toshiba has just announced its first 4K laptop. In the U.S. this laptop with a touchscreen, OS Windows 8.1 and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 on board will be called Satellite P55T.

Toshiba P55T has a 15,6-inch IPS display supporting a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels (~282 ppi). All those pixels generates a quad-core processor Intel i7 and discrete graphics AMD Radeon R9 M265X 2GB DDR5. Another hook of specifications is 16GB DDR3L memory, a Blu-ray drive and 1TB mechanical hard drive 5400 RPM. Also aware of the module Wi-Fi 802.11, four USB 3.0, HDMI port and a keyboard with LED backlight. The laptop body is made of aluminum. Weight starting from 5.3 lbs. (2.5kg).

Toshiba Satellite P55T is available now with a price tag $1500, that seems ready to compete with other 4K touchscreen laptops.

HTC One M8 Mini goes on sale

HTC is working on the miniature version of HTC One M8. Like its predecessor HTC One Mini, HTC M8 Mini got nothing fundamentally new from flagship smartphone, it will keep main design and metal body but now at smaller dimensions.

The smartphone, as expected, will be equipped with a 4.5-inch display which support a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, a quad-core processor 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400 and 1GB of RAM. 16GB of internal storage, a slot for MicroSD cards, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 4 and OS Android 4.4.2 KitKat with UI Sense 6.0 also on board.

The handset is available now. HTC is also preparing another version of its flagship - One (M8) Ace.

AU Optronics launches a 5.7-inch smartphone with QHD display

AU Optronics will launch of a new QHD smartphone. The company said that the new displays has a better sensitivity than conventional touchscreens. Thickness of the display is 0,57mm which is twice less than in last year's prototype. Each individual pixel of screen gets individual powered that allows not use electricity when it is not active.

This new smartphone from AU Optronics comes with  5.7-inch AMOLED display, that has a Quad High Defintion resolution (2560x1440 pixels; pixel density of 513 ppi). Advantages of AMOLED technology known to all: it provides greater clarity and brightness of the colors, as well as differs by low-power, so the battery will last for a long time.

AU Optonics has also working on 1.6-inch AMOLED display for smart watches which will see the day light very soon. As yet the company has not announced other specs of the smartphone, also no information about the launch date or price.

Lenovo has plans to launch a smartphone Golden Warrior S8

The devicecomes with a 5.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels (pixel density ~277ppi) under a Gorilla Glass 3, an eight-valve heart SoC MediaTek MT6592 with a clock frequency of 1.4GHz and 2GB of RAM. On the back cover located 13-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 5-megapixels camera stands opposite. The smartphone will also feature a 16GB of internal flash memory and a slot for MicroSD memory cards up to 32 GB. By the looks of it, S8 has Dual-SIM support, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and MicroUSB v2.0.

The Achilles heel of Warrior S8 is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and 2000mAh battery that not enough, when a large display works with a voracious OS. It can be a great name among budget smartphone, if Lenovo will select an Android 4.4 KitKat as the operating system.

Lenovo has launched the Golden Warrior S8 smartphone this year for $130. It was assumed that the novelty will be intended only for the China market, but now the company has sales in other regions.
