S.I.U.'s gonna do a spin-off series of Tower of God and I'm like. Dying for too many things to be the focus of that side-series. I wanna see more of Zahard and his stupid fashion sense and his bitch fight (that I am convinced he's in) with Fate. I wanna see more about Rachel and Bam's past. (I am. Rereading and there's stuff I FORGOT because they were small details and ToG is 15ish years old AND YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T THINK BAM SPENT ALL HIS TIME PRE-TOWER IN THE CAVE.) I want to see Arlene's ENTIRE FACE. I wanna see Arlene and Zahard interaction. I need to see how their relationship was and how it fucking spiraled so hard into tragedy and disaster that Arlene turns so hard on the group with V that they just build an army and start attacking their friends and their friends' descendants without blinking an eye from the sound of things. I need Arlene-V-Zahard interactions (and see if anyone in the fandom is gonna go 'teehee they've got two hands' andwrites something that gets me hooked). I wanna see how the people in the Red Garbage Dump managed to survive and built themselves up until they break out to take over the Tower. I wanna see the moment Zahard smashed himself into literal shards of who he was to make a version that fit whatever mold Fate graced the King of the Tower with (granted this isn't a confirmed fact but it feels highly possible to me right now). I wanna watch Arlene losing her fucking mind after her baby was murdered and see her drifting around the tower with a magically-preserved corpse and then after V goes through with suicide, hauling around reminders of him and getting worse and worse and worse. Maybe I want to see Zahard kill Arlene's baby and how that actually went down because Arlene's journal is not liable to reliable for facts that aren't shaded to make Zahard sound like an absolutely monstrous worst-of-the-worst and make out Arlene and V as 100% victims - I MEAN THEY WENT TO WAR WITH THEIR FORMER COMPANIONS AND PEOPLE CONDUCTING WAR DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THOSE GETTING CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE AND THEY'D HAVE KILLED A LOT OF THEIR EX-FRIENDS' DESCENDANTS IN THE MIDDLE OF IT ALL TOO. I want to see Team Sweet & Sour stuff they've been missing for 99.99999999% of S3. Did Karaka spend any time training Wangnan and Miseng? FUCKING PLEASE. I need to see if Miseng's turned into a tiny terror of the battlefield.

Now, I know that Remus’ patronus is a wolf (in cannon, I mean— I usually headcannon it as a massive dog) because he’s a werewolf, but I don’t think that that would be his animagus form. I also don’t think that Lily’s patronus being a doe makes her animagus form a doe, because that’s boring as all hell.

Personally, I think that Remus’ animagus form would be either a mouse or a sheep. A mouse because they’re incredibly clever, but also very kind, and I find it funny to think that the werewolf’s animagus form is one of the smallest mammals out there, also he kind of just reminds me of a mouse (plus, it would be sweet to see Peter not being the tiniest Marauder— I think that him not being the smallest would’ve prevented him from building resentment and then betraying them). A sheep just for the irony of a wolf in sheep’s clothing puns.

I think that Lily’s animagus form would be a mountain lion. They’re notoriously good mothers, they’re strong, they’re fast, but they’re pretty nice (by big cat standards). Also, I just think the gives off big cat vibes. She’s either a mountain lion or a lioness.

Ooo I love this idea!

Although I could also see Ghoul really enjoying a kick wheel too, because there's just something so delightfully tactile about giving big leg-flopping kicks against a large metal disk to make your pottery spin... I always found it more satisfying than the electric wheels so maybe I'm just projecting, but I feel like Ghoul would also vibe with the sensation of using kick wheels.

Ooh, and also, if they couldn't make it out to the kiln sometimes, they could always try a pit firing! It would be a good excuse for a nice big bonfire with the crew, and then the pottery would have a cool, smokey look to it, even unglazed (I think?)--like this:

Of course, the bonfire might risk drawing the attention of Dracs, but then again we know they do canonically have fires at night sometimes... Ooh I just decided my new headcanon for the campfire scene in Na Na Na is now that they were doing a pit firing! (Or you could always just pit fire during the day when it would be less obvious, but I’m just enjoying the thought of this.)

Anyways. Fun Ghoul does pottery. There’s a wheel in the diner, and they got it to operate off battery power, and they drag Kobra out on clay-finding missions, since he’s got such a skill for finding water. They make all their own tools for it, and stuff is mostly unglazed. There’s a working kiln at a studio in Zone Two, and every other month they load up the Am with one of the others and drive out to it.

They’ll make functional pieces whenever someone breaks a few too many plates by mistake, or clay shells for certain kinds of bombs, but mostly they make abstract, rarely-useful pieces, all warped and twisting, halfway between sculpture and dream. Sometimes they handbuild pieces on after throwing it on the wheel.

This reminds me, just the other day I was thinking about which MCR album would correspond to which house! I feel like Danger Days has pretty obvious Gryffindor energy, what with the whole Killjoy storyline being all about impulsive bravery and a fight for ideals. Then, I decided I’d put Black Parade with Ravenclaw, since it’s a very contemplative and philosophical album, reflecting on and exploring death as it does. Also, it’s theatrical as heck, and you know Ravenclaw has plenty of theatre nerds (including me, and several other theater people I know). 

The last two I had a harder time with, because I feel like a good case could be made for both Bullets and Revenge for being associated with either Hufflepuff or Slytherin. Bullets has that close-knit family-feel of the “van days”, and there’s something hardworking and loyal and bristling with Hufflepuff energy about the band just starting out, that whole “us vs the world” mentality they had. (I know this is based less on the album and more on the era than the first two, thought I feel it’s also somewhat reflected in the songs- you’re not in this alone...). At the same time, though, early MCR were certainly ambitious, and there’s perhaps somewhat of an edge of dark cunning in some of the songs, too. 

Revenge, on the other hand, is also underlaid by loyalty, albeit a darker, murderous loyalty, that of one Demolition Lover to another. The quest for 1,000 souls and the ideals of vengeance could perhaps be construed as Slytherin ambitiousness, but at the same time, if we’re going by the narrative of the Demolition Lovers, then a desperate, tragic love is really the driving source more so than personal ambition; but then again, the pair only got themselves separated in the first place because of their criminal ambitions. 

My gut says that Bullets is more Hufflepuff and Revenge is more Slytherin, but it could easily be the other way around.

I may have also spent at least half of my weekend binging MCR music :) And music videos. And behind the scenes stuff. And interviews. 

I sometimes feel like a bit of a bandwagon fan since I first heard Welcome to the Black Parade in 2016 when I stumbled onto a Doctor Who fanvideo set to it (which you can find here btw; it’s still a fantastic video) and so I’m not one of those fans who’s been desperately waiting since 2013 for this reunion, but I’m still quite happy to hear they’re back together, and I guess I’ve been making up for lost time by obsessing, haha.

It’s kind of fun to get into a band that has a fandom attached, too. Like, I also really love Shinedown, but I’ve never found adorable art like this of chibi Brent Smith hanging out in teacups (although if anyone has any, do please let me know!!). Like how cute are these? And the color schemes, and the aesthetics... an excellent artistic tribute to an excellent band :) 

I sat "nice try, giant worms" as my main screen and it makes me smile and chuckle every time I open my phone :) 

The general WTNV one is my lockscreen and it’s also lovely. I do love that Night Vale’s official color is purple (I have a fondness for purple if you hadn’t guessed) and of course, purple is even better with stars :)

We decided to make some flags just for our plurality. While these flags are technically free to use, credit is actually required for these, as these flags are specifically made for us really.

We used browns and green-blues as those are colors that a lot of us have connections and stuff to.

We don't have a name for them as a term or anything. If anyone can think of a good name for it, then feel free to reblog with said name/term.

We do have a definition for what we want the flag(s) to mean.

The definition is: Beings that are nonhuman/not human fully, even when the body they are in is human. (This can be described in different ways).

We tried to kind of make it based a bit off of nature (greens and browns mainly).
