Bowynn Gods and Intervention

Bowynn Gods And Intervention

One thing that is clear when it comes to the Bowynn gods of faith, they play little role in the daily affairs of humankind. Unlike some pagan faiths where the gods are always testing, challenging and dismantling human affairs, Bowynn gods do no such thing. We 9us humans) are not their play toys. We are not given tests every hour of the day to prove we love them and are always righteous.

Where as in some faiths, it is so quick to blame a deity for anything and everything that goes wrong, the Bowynn gods are not blamed for such things. Humans make our mistakes enough without the Gods help. We make our own mistakes to learn from them. And from that the Gods themselves watch and learn from us and about us. Bowynn NEVER blame the gods.

HOWEVER, The Gods have been known to step in on occasion to give humans a boost up-n-at-em. They may step in to give advice, or to warn us. Very rarely is it a face-to-face encounter, though I will say I have had 2 direct interventions; One being when I was at the lowest point of my life.

Just as well, the gods MAY intercede when necessity is needed or asked for by mortals. Often when balance is off kilter or severe criminal action is at hand. They do answer prayers and beseeches for help. But again, they will rarely appear right out. Asking the divine for help in a spell, helping for last minute study help, finding a job or healing, are common. And yes the gods will often come to the aid of those that need it.

The main thing to remember is what befalls you 99% of the time is due to human error, not the Bowynn Gods. Ask for their help but do not demand. Accept whatever help the gods give with love and respect. But never expect the Gods to do all the work.

And lastly, know that the Gods are always all about you. THEY KNOW.

Spell Jar Basics: Creating and Tailor-Making Your Own Spell Bottles & Jars

(Hello again, everyone! I’m back after a long hiatus - it feels good to be witching again!)

Spell jars are a great and easily modifiable way to do “slow-cooker” magic-stuff that doesn’t require a lot of active participation time, but the combined result is just as - if not more-potent.

THE COMPONENTS: THE JAR

You’ll need a jar, first of all - the size and shape of which should correspond to your intent, ideally. For smaller,”single-burner” spells, you might want a small, corked bottle you can balance a spell candle on. If you were to make a witches’ bottle for protection, you’d want something a little bigger, to hold all the ingredients, and probably something in an amber or other more opaque tone, so you can’t see inside.

Ideally, your jar or bottle would have a lid, for various spell-mechanics purposes-using the jar as a sealant, keeping the contents together while you shake it, and so on.

FILLING THE JAR

Next, you’ll need the components for the “spell” part. Assemble harmonious ingredients that are correspondent to your intent - for instance, if I were to assemble a spell bottle for balance, I’d try to grab some herbs and reagents correspondent to my intent (coriander, sea salt, and so forth), that are mostly yellow (the color I correspond with balance), and, perhaps, keep it down to 5 ingredients, which is the number I correspond with balance.

Fill the jar or bottle with these ingredients-this is you doing the prep work for your spell! If you intend to shake the contents to reactivate them every so often, for instance, you’d want to leave a bit of room at the top.

You might want to add some extra oomph to your jar for more heavy-duty spells, like tying correspondent ribbon around the jar, or inscribing a sigil or planetary symbol on it.

CASTING THE SPELL

Now that your spell preparations are complete, you’ll need to pick a good time to perform your spell, and choose a way to “activate” it - that is, a spell mechanic to set your intent in motion and do the actual “casting”.

For timing, you’ll want to pick something that, again, corresponds with your intent: You can use the waxing and waning tides of the moon to draw or remove something from your life, use sunsets and sunrises for manifestation and banishment, cast at high noon for an elemental fire influence, or on a clear, dark night for an honorary jar for Nyx - do a little research and listen to your gut!

As for the casting, you have a number of ways to go about it. Here are a couple of popular methods you can pick, mix, and match (but remember, you can always invent a more appropriate method for your own spell!):

Sealing with a Candle: An effective way to complete and cast your spell, with the added bonus of sealing in the contents of your jar for permanent magick. Choose the color of your candle according to your intent, inscribe it with a rune or sigil, anoint it with oil, or/and customize it in any way you see fit to correspond it with your intent and with the contents of the jar. Burn the whole candle at once to cast a spell in one go, or light the candle a little bit every night during the waxing or waning moon to draw or rid, respectively.

Burying the Jar: For spells involving the earth, staking a claim on your own property, magic you don’t want to reverse, or jars honoring cthonic spirits, bury your jar in the dirt, whether it’s in your yard or in a container.

Reversible Spells: Leave the jar’s lid or cork unsealed by wax, but firmly pressed on, perhaps with a string or ribbon to seal the magic in instead. If you ever have need to reverse the spell, you can open up the jar, safely unenchant and dispose of its contents, and clean out the jar with salt and water for later.

Recastable Spells: Leave a generous portion of room in your jar or bottle before sealing, and give it a vigorous shake when you want to re-cast.

Now go forth, and cast!

If you do make any spell jars, I totally want to see them! :>

I'm looking for stories, podcasts, YouTube channels, Pinterest boards, quotes, music, communities, novels, and history that explore witches ✨, spirituality 🌙, energy 🔮, the moon 🌕, and personal practice 🕯️. I’m in search of something to anchor my thoughts—something that speaks to the soul, expands the mind, and opens a path through these sacred and mysterious realms 🌌.

I would love to hear personal stories—how a book, a song, a quote, or even a Pinterest post shifted your path, lit a candle in your practice, or helped you feel seen. Tell me what it taught you, what you carry with you, and what you hope it might teach me too.

Bless those who write, share, and create—thank you for your magic and your honesty 🕊️.

Share the stories that inspire you. The quiet ones. The wild ones. The ones that live between the lines of a poem, or in the soft silence after a good song fades out. I'm ready to listen.

Hi everyone,💖

I’ve been diving into the world of witchcraft and spirituality, and I’m discovering that while I have a deep belief in spirits, energies, and the existence of different dimensions, I don’t always see them—or feel them the way I expect to. I know there’s something more beyond the physical, and I’m starting to understand how lucid dreaming, clairvoyance, and intuition can all play a role in tapping into that hidden world.

But, here’s where I’m at—I can sense it, and I believe it, but the experience still feels just out of reach. I feel energy, have intuitive flashes, and sometimes, I wonder if I’m missing something crucial. How do I begin to bridge the gap between belief and actual experience? Is there a way to truly connect with spirits or sense other dimensions more clearly?

I’ve been thinking a lot about fairies and nature spirits, too. I feel a pull toward them but haven’t quite figured out how to build a relationship with those beings. I would love to hear from anyone who has explored these things more—how did you nurture that connection?

I guess my biggest question is: How do you begin to truly see the unseen?✨

Any guidance or stories would be so appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

Hello,

I wouldn’t quite call myself a witch, but I hold a deep respect and quiet love for the energy, intention, and time that the path requires. There’s something sacred in the way witches move through the world—with awareness, with reverence—and I often find myself drawn to that rhythm.

I’d say I’m spiritual, though I’m still figuring out what that means for me. I meditate, practice shadow work, visualize, and try to learn from the plants and herbs around me. I’m curious about things like numerology, even if I’ve been told to take it lightly—it still speaks to something inside me. I find signs in nature, patterns in the world, and meaning in small moments.

More than anything, I’m trying to understand myself—who I am, what I’m becoming, and how to walk through this life with purpose. I talk to trees. I listen to the wind. I feel the pull of the moon, and sometimes, I just sit with the earth and breathe. These moments feel like home, even if I can’t quite explain why.

Still, I don’t fully know what I am. I feel like I’m in-between, on the edge of something I can’t yet name. I’ve been quietly seeking—a community, a circle, a place where I can speak openly about the things I’m drawn to. I want to ask questions without judgment, share stories, learn from others, and maybe begin to understand what my path could be.

If anything, I want to belong—to something deeper, older, and more honest. I want to grow, step by step, into whoever I’m meant to become.

Round Or Oval Stones Symbolize The Feminine As They Represent The Female Reproductive System, And Pointed

Round or oval stones symbolize the feminine as they represent the female reproductive system, and pointed stones symbolize the masculine as they represent the male phallic side. ............................................................................................ Make a Wish: While you are in the river you can grab a stone and make a wish, while you do so focus on your wish and visualize how it has already materialized. After this, throw the stone with all your strength, go and don't look back.

Artifacts🦴🪶

Artifacts🦴🪶

When I create a layout like this, I like to take a moment with each object to think about the life it lived before it came to be in my possession. Each of these small items have traveled and changed throughout time.

Each of bone was once part of a living creature with its own emotions, needs, dreams, and desires. It had thoughts and experiences, and therefore knowledge.

Each of the small plant specimens once grew and thrived in nature. They played an important role in the ecosystem providing food, oxygen, and shelter for many creatures.

Antiques such as the key and tiny clockwork gear have passed through many different hands before finding a home with me. They have years of stories to tell.

Each of these items are special to me for many reasons. What are some of your favorite treasures? Do they have a story behind them? 🌙🌿
