God gives his hardest battles (speaking to my coworkers) to his strongest soldiers (me who begged for this job)
The job I have, though I like it, is kind of a dead-end job. I see no opportunity for me to move up in the company where I work. I work at a place where everyone has been at their positions for decades. A few people have been around since the company was founded in the 1970s. I make between $22-$24 per hour at my job. In NYC, where I live, that can afford me a room in an apartment, and I'd have to have roommates to cover the cost of rent.
But, I need/like the money and stability. So I stay. Furthermore, it *is* a nice place to work. The atmosphere is quiet, and everyone gets along. No tension, no beef, no jealousy among employees. Everyone is highly intelligent, and focused. I've been thinking about having a 2nd job or some part-time thing, but that would require me to leave my aging mother alone, and she can't do lots of household duties anymore. I should be nearby.
manager: I know it's slow and stuff but just make sure you try to look busy...
coworker: *begins gently rubbing the scale
me:...
manager: You know, just clean the scales or empty the trash...
coworker: *continues pretending to clean until manager leaves

A good friend of mine @alexis-parainoid are starting up a commissions page. The commissions are pretty cheap cause we are new at this but I hope you can go check out @alaritis to see what’s up.
Thank you for reading and have a good day!
hate when people don’t give my personality enough time to defrost like i swear you’ll love me just give me 2 weeks
I just need the magic button that lets me focus to be sitting on my desk instead of floating around in space randomly getting pressed by asteroids it bumps into
I will go in London with my sister in August ! So I planned our trip a bit and looked for informations. I also began Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. My version is in English but have some translations and explications on page margins.
I'm working by the fire because it is so cold today
59/100 days of productivity: I am not doing interesting things recently. I try to prepare my entrance examination (I don't know how to explain : the exam for engineering school admittance) This is my French revision because it is a bit aesthetic next to what I do recently. Through I am feeling really nervous, there are so much thing to know (and only a little I actually know). It's exactly in a week and I can't sleep well : I spend my days working and I suppose that's not even sufficient. I have an oral exam for a school in May : I'm happy about it, I mean my report (I don't know if it is the right words) might interest them if they want to see me, though I also don't know at all what they will ask : it's 3hours long ! I already can't wait the end of it. Also we go in holiday with my class after the exam which will be really cool I guess.
39/100 days of productivity: Planning my revision weeks. I use code colouring to know which chapters are important and which one are less important or already known. It last me a lot of time to list every one of it.
38/100 days of productivity: My teacher are all trying to finish in time. It's like my third maths lesson of the week.
35/100 days of productivity: Working outside feel good ! I've planned my revision weeks. I already feel stressed, there is so much things to revise/learn in such a short period !
33/100 days of productivity: Learning physics for my exam tomorrow. It's my last one (I hope ! 5/2 is not for me)
30/100 days of productivity: Bullet journal pages about engineering schools entrance examination
25/100 days of productivity: Revising 2 years of computer science right now. There were things I've already forgotten.
21/100 days of productivity: Time run so fast, I'm totally nervous about school. I spend my whole Sunday working on various assignments. Tomorrow is the deadline to register engineer' school. I am so nervous even if I finished yesterday.
17/100 days of productivity: Bake some cakes for my class today. Bought new black pens because this is the time again when all my pen are dying. Spent hours on my oral presentation's power point, made physics notes and exercices.
I read a paper today about a woman working in a job which is difficult to do as a woman. She said :“I don’t have a man’s job, I only have a job where there is a lot of men”.
THINK ABOUT IT
I want you to know that tomato soup is so underrated ! And I hate working with 10 pages of words open on my computer
Hi, I from France. I study in CPGE, kind of a science class before engineering school. I love watching studyblr and bullet journal posts, and lately I wanted to make my own. I'm not really good at pretty notes, organised desk and perfect writing even if I love seeing those posts. I'm aware that there are already a lot of studyblr but I study quite a lot and I think studyblr community can be a good motivation for me. Also it's been more than a year that I'm using a bullet journal even if mine is quite simple but still helpful.
OMG, it's so true!!
