Everyone on Tumblr are like siblings. We’re really supportive of each other but are also not afraid to tear each other down if we just don’t vibe.

Having a mother is a case of traumas and laughters.

I came home from school today and was greeted with a delivery of ONE HUNDRED coat hangers. Because according to my mother, me and my siblings have disorganized wardrobes. The problem? We're just three, me and my old bro together don't even count forty shirts.

Now my old lady is trying to figure out something to do with the extra hangers, and my brothers and I have been laughing for fifteen minutes at her confusion and impulsiveness/consumerism.

Modern AU Pevensie Sibling Relationship Headcannons:

Peter and Lucy:

- Lucy has Peter completely wrapped around her finger

- like Peter has a major soft spot for Lucy and will go out of his way to make her happy

- For this reason she has been able to convince Peter to be in her tik toks

- all her siblings make appearances on Lucy's tik tok, but Peter has been in the most dance tik toks

- They're both the more friendly and outgoing siblings. They just have a lot of golden retriever energy so they're relationship is very soft and pure

- Peter is very protective, as he is with all his siblings, but especially for Lucy

- sometimes Lucy finds this very frustrating

Edmund and Lucy:

-They weren't close when they were younger. Edmund especially did not like Lucy when she was a baby

-but they got a lot closer as they got older, especially after their older siblings started to move on.

-After Peter went to uni Edmund became Lucy's most frequent guest star on her tik tok account. He would pretend to be annoyed but have a lot of fun

- Edmund is protective over Lucy too, but knows he has no business interfering with Lucy's decisions and has complete faith in her ability to handle herself

- Edmund knows Lucy better than Peter and Susan do

-They watch vines and get Starbucks together

- Edmund liked that Lucy listened to him and saw his and everyone else's good qualities. Lucy is kind of universally everyone's favorite sibling.

Susan and Lucy:

- When Lucy was a baby Susan was overjoyed to finally have a sister

-Susan was determined to be a good example to Lucy and she saw her relationship with Lucy as special because Lucy was her only sister

- Susan always tried to be a safe space for Lucy to tell her anything and come to her with problems

- As they grew up they had less common interests but they would still confide in each other and share a few inside jokes

- We see in the movies that Lucy is jealous of Susan's beauty and charm, but Susan was always jealous of how bold, free, and at peace Lucy seemed to be.

- if they played a game with teams and played boys vs girls they would always win because they could work together better than Peter and Edmund.

Susan and Edmund:

- Like Lucy and Peter, Edmund and Susan had a lot of the same fundamental traits, but they're a lot closer in age so they have more in common than peter and lucy

-They're both terribly competitive. Susan despite all her grace and elegance still can't stay entirely cool when she's losing a boardgame on family game night

- Peter and Lucy can't decide if it's worse when Edmund and Susan are against each other or on the same team

- they always win bc they're both strategical, but than one day Peter and lucy beat them and they are so frustrated especially bc they're trying to find a strategy for a game of complete chance

-One time Susan dragged Edmund to the salon with her and Lucy. He pretended to hate it at first, but now goes regularly and loves to gossip.

-They're both bi and end up competing over the same guy a weird amount

Edmund and Peter:

- these two have the most difficult relationship bc they're almost complete opposites

- that being said they are both extremely loyal and while it's one thing for them to pick on each other it's something entirely different if someone else does. They can always trust that they ultimately have eachother's backs.

- Edmund looks up to Peter a lot more than he lets on

- When they were little Edmund would always follow Peter around and try to keep up

-They weren't very close when they were older but Edmund was still Peter's best man at his wedding and vice versa

-there is also a picture of them together at Peter's graduation on Edmund's insta captioned, "proof that i get along with my brother sometimes. Congrats bro"

- Peter's comment on the post was, "I'll miss you, you little shit"

Peter and Susan:

- Since they were the oldest they were always focused on protecting the younger two. The front they put up around Edmund and Lucy was totally dropped when it was just them

- They were really close in age do they did a lot more hangouts with friends and stuff, and they were both super social so they would go to like grab drinks and go to parties

-Peter married one of Susan's roommates.

- they check up on eachother but subtly because neither of them really has the authority to fully older sibling the other

- they fought over who gets the car constantly, and Susan usually won

Are you kidding?  I’d let my sister slap me if we could split the $1.5 million!  I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t seriously injure me, and we could both do a lot with $750,000.

MAKA CHOPPING ANNOYING GHOST BROTHERS!

I was supposed to have an older brother. sadly that didn’t happen due to ...horrible events, I never got to see him. but I'd like to think he’s still watching over me from heaven. I like to draw what I think he would have been like so I that I’ll never forget him...

I should be posting more stuff tomorrow...

The Lion King

The Lion King is a big deal for me. The Lion King was both the first movie I saw in theatre and the first play I saw on Broadway and Lion King II: Simba’s pride was my first “new movie”. Similar to how the first Harry Potter book is my home of film, the Lion King story and series is my home of film.

While the story is home for me and has a lot of great moments, there isn’t a particular connection to the story except for enjoyment. The opening scenes are what I remember most, the music and the visuals that the film received accurate praise on.

The Lion King

The story is also good, you see Simba grow up and the characters of Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa are original and home themselves. Rafiki, a somewhat sarcastic but also caring character, how people will choose not to listen and that it’s okay to not be seriously serious all the time. Timon and Pumbaa show that true friendship encompasses risking your life and how it’s okay to be different from your friends and also a little silly.

The Lion King

The Lion King is also a movie/story that I’ve been able to look at differently as I’ve aged. While the opening sequence of music, artistical beauty and family resonate the same with me about 25 years later, I was able to have a deeper appreciation for the Broadway show when I saw it as an adult than when I was younger and my relationship and understanding with the characters has changed because while I remember the story, enough time has gone by where I don’t remember all the details and I am in some ways meeting the characters for the first time.

The Lion King

Similar to The Lion King, The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride was also a film that I related to differently as I watched it. While at first Simba was just an annoying dad who didn’t understand, an older me appreciated the true fear he had for his daughter (while also wondering how he would have reacted about his son in the same situations). The biggest change for me occurs with Naku and the relationship with his mother, who learned too late how she should love all her children and how one can become broken when being considered less than by all sides and how much a sibling being there can help, as his sister Vitani was--even though she also teased him.

Finally, The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, I remember watching it. I’m sitting on this plastic crappy desk in the tv room, I had just gotten the movie from a video store (woah), its playing a few feet away from me on this BIG tv that weighed more than I did and I got annoyed because we were leaving to go see a friend but I HAD to keep watching because I didn’t know how it ended!!! In that moment, I realized that I didn’t know how it ended. Prior to that movie every movie I had seen, I remembered seeing before and mostly remembered what happened (something I wish wasn’t the case as rewatching tv shows isn’t the same--but not important here). This was huge for me, so thank you Lion King, Lion Kin on Broadway and Lion King II: Simba’s Pride for being a great series reference points in my life so far

The Moon Singing on Homely Nights

The moon sings softly on the nights Esther climbs in through her brother’s window. These nights turn sparser as Amador stays in his new apartment across the country. During these nights, her heart beats in a lulled pace while she sits on his empty bed.

There’s a soft click as she unlatches the window and when she crawls in, she makes sure to land on her toes. She finds more than just her older brother. She doesn’t know what she’ll see or what she hopes to see. When she’d last seen him, he’d slammed the door, tears streaking down his face and voice hoarse from screaming. She still doesn’t have the full pieces from the fight that led to her father’s roaring voice startling their home into silence and the unusual pitch of Amador’s voice as he walked out the door.

She opens his bedroom door to see if he is in the living room or spending his time in a library. She hopes he’s found a library he likes here despite all that has transpired.

Amador’s head is lolled on the couch, his mouth parted and dead to the world. His body is slightly tilted with one arm around his childhood friend, Maya’s sleeping form who was hugging her brother’s waist. The ugly green blanket Esther had gifted him as a joke is bunch around their feet as if kicked. There’s Snakes n Ladders, playing cards, and Candyland strewn across the table.

Maya had always filled Amador’s head with ideas—little fantasies that didn’t include Esther most likely that he could escape into. Frowning, she steps forward, fully planning to yank the woman out but the floor creaks loudly under her feet. They both jolt open, Amador’s shaking his head and Maya drags her hands across her face to remove her hair from her mouth, scrunching her face.

When Amador turns around to face the source of the sound, he finds her face and gives a dopey smile. ‘Hey, you’re home. When d’you come here?’

This is the first time she heard him call this place home, and a little piece of Esther’s heart cracks as if he’s renouncing the family home. Something vicious crawls onto Esther’s tongue as she bites out, ‘Thought you’d know that you’ve not succeeded in getting rid of me yet.’

Milas flinches as hurt flashes across his face, and in an instant, Maya grips his arm. Esther can never guess how Maya knows that while still keeping her piercing gaze fixed on her.

‘I don’t want to get rid of you,’ Amador says in confusion before letting out a shaky laugh, ‘no matter how annoying you are, you little rugrat.’

Esther should ideally know that. She doesn’t have the full pieces of the fight he had with mom and dad, or the unfamiliar way he’s glancing at Esther, still wary but now distant. Even in the moonlight, she can see the color back on his face, the surety of his movements as he tidies up the table and the blanket to give Esther a place to sit.

When Maya flicks on the floor lamp in the corner, his eyes crinkle at Esther and he pats the seat next to him. His cheeks are no longer sallow, his face no longer as pale as Esther, and he no longer sways in a way that makes Esther worry that a faint breeze could have knocked the husk of a rock her brother used to be.

Her brother had been wasting away for months, and Esther had not noticed.

From the corner of her eyes, Maya walks in with two plates balanced in a tray and slides the biggest portion of what looks like heated leftover lasagna to her brother, glancing warily, as she reminds him, ‘You’d promised you’d eat tomorrow nine hours ago. It’s 12:03. Eat up.’

She offers another to Esther as she leisurely nibbles on peanuts to keep her brother company. Her brother makes a little face at the size, and Maya produces a bar of chocolate in her fingers seemingly out of thin air as a bribe and chews obnoxiously loud until he drops it. He slouches to rest his head on Maya’s shoulders in acquiesce like Esther had seen him do a thousand times since she could remember, and the woefully domestic scene sours her heart.

Her plate remains untouched and she nods her head in gratitude for the food and the company. She makes excuses poorly at best and outlandish at worst, and walks out the door.

One day, she would know the words of the fight and Amador’s dreams if he’d let her, but for now, she takes the earliest train home. As she looks through the window, she sees her mother’s eyes with dark circles underneath. They both have her eyes, but this new Amador’s eyes gleam bright enough to quiet the moon.

so apparently when my sister and i were little we took golfing classes and we got kicked out after a week. the reason being that the old white male instructor kept calling my 4 year old sister Maria “Mary” after she told him several times that her name is pronounced Maria. anyway, at one point, he tells her “well, that doesn’t matter anymore. you’re in America now.” and that distressed my sister so much that she hit him with her golf club.

that’s not what did the damage, though. what fucked that old dude up is that i saw my sister hit him from where i was standing and i ran over and started beating him with MY golf club. my mom says that i didn’t know what the hell was happening, but i squared up.

that’s why we got kicked out.

i love when sibling characters are fucked up from the same event but in opposite ways

Lol, love that! I guess I sort of had a problem with becoming people's sibling in some way as well, lol.

Izuku, who was [one of] my childhood friend(s), was the first person to be considered by me as a little sibling, lol. I actually called him my little brother a lot.

I at first was actually not really close to Tokoyami, I relate it to the territorial bird [and other animal but mainly bird in this case] instincts and shit. But after a bit, I managed to start to see them as like a sibling or cousin, although I am unsure if I ever actually said anything about this.

Hitoshi was probably the second one that I realized I was seeing as a little sibling, though. And it just became more prominent when I got adopted by Aizawa and Mic, who had adopted Toshi before me [I also call him Toshi a lot].

Eri is my only other legal sibling cause she was also adopted by Aizawa and Mic. Though that was after me. She was my little sister, and I was very protective of her and would do pretty much anything for her.

Todoroki Shouto was pretty much like my brother in law without the marriage aspect. Him and Izuku were together and really loved each other. So I was like a weird older (I think I was older than him? Unsure of birthdays a bit) sibling in law, lol.

Trying to think of others that I saw as siblings or cousins or something like that, lol.

I kinda also felt very much like an older sibling to Uraraka after a little bit of being her friend. I got extremely protective anytime that someone would be rude to her [including the Sports Festival shit, fucking assholes]. She and Izuku didn't have a thing for each other in my canon like in the manga/anime btw. Her and Tsu got together at some point, and I think Toga might have also been in a relationship with them, but I am unsure, lol.

With Bakugo [who was my other childhood friend], I sort of saw him as like a brother or cousin, but not really? I think Toshi had ended up liking Kats [and 2 others] romantically, which is where the weirdness comes in, lol. But it's not really that weird cause they didn't see each other as family like that, and how I saw Kats could even end up being described in a way like Todoroki.

There's probably others that I'm missing, but these are the main ones I can think of rn, lol.

- Zuki Shay Lupo (They/it/hx) :3c

Hello, I decided to come say hi and shit in an ask, lol.

I'm not good at starting conversations, but I would like to hear about any alterhuman or nonhuman experiences or memories or anything that'd you'd be willing to share!

- Zuki Shay Lupo (They/it) | a fellow noncanon MHA being/creature :3c

aaa hihi!! good to hear from you, i definitely feel you on the 'bad at starting conversations' lol!

the first thing that comes to mind a memory of playing video games with Tomura and Shuichi. I wasn't very good at it, but it was good bonding and i loved playing with them. I would only play the 'silly' games like Mario Kart or Smash Bros, they got too into the 'serious' ones for me. I finished in last place every time lmao, so i mostly spent my time teasing whoever was in second place. Dabi would sit with us too sometimes, either lazily scrolling on his phone or bothering the three of us, trying to help whoever would give him the most attention lol. The others joined in sometimes too, Himiko and Jin and rarely Sho and Toshi if they were hanging out. Himiko would shriek excitedly and bump us while Jin cheered her on and cursed her out. It was good.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to ramble lol!! Feel free to share any memories/thoughts you have :D

YOUR SISTER
YOUR SISTER

YOUR SISTER

I have a sister, but we don’t talk. We should, I have that feeling. We grew up together, I left when a teen to go to school and I had seen her some. We still haven’t talked at all. I talk to my brothers just fine. I’m old now and want to make amends, however, I can’t think of how to break the barrier between us. I get the impression it’s just like another person, being so close. Ideas? Comments?
