Definitive Guide to Eliminating Anxious Thoughts

Are you struggling to deal with negative thoughts? It’s something that happens to all of us. That’s why I’ve put together this guide to help you break free from them. With practice, you’ll leave behind old negative thought patterns and adopt new, more positive ones. Remember, it’s also important to feel and accept our emotions, but we can’t allow a negative thought or belief to ruin our emotional well-being.

1. Redirect Your Thoughts – Consciously shift your focus to something positive, like a happy memory or a recent achievement.

2. Write in a Journal – Express your emotions freely in writing to process and release them.

3. Meditation & Visualization – Practice guided meditation or visualize a peaceful, anxiety-free future.

4. Create a “No-Thought Zone” – Set specific times when you completely forbid yourself from thinking about the issue. If needed, postpone it to a set time later in the day.

5. Use Positive Affirmations – Repeat phrases like “I am at peace with my decisions” or “I let go of what no longer serves me.”

6. Focus on the Present – Stay grounded by paying attention to your breath, bodily sensations, and surroundings.

7. Engage in Enjoyable Activities – Keep your mind occupied with hobbies, exercise, movies, or socializing to cultivate emotional well-being.

The Power of Hobbies: Your Secret Weapon to Level Up

Listen, sweethearts! In a world where everyone’s glued to their screens, doom-scrolling into oblivion, it’s time to bring back the ultimate glow-up tool: HOBBIES. Yep, hobbies aren’t just for your grandma’s knitting club. They’re the secret sauce to becoming the best version of YOU. Ready to romanticize your life? Let’s go.

The Power Of Hobbies: Your Secret Weapon To Level Up

The Power Of Hobbies: Your Secret Weapon To Level Up
The Power Of Hobbies: Your Secret Weapon To Level Up
The Power Of Hobbies: Your Secret Weapon To Level Up
The Power Of Hobbies: Your Secret Weapon To Level Up

Why Hobbies Are Important

First off, hobbies aren’t just cute little pastimes—they’re mini acts of self-love. They give your brain a break, boost your mood, and remind you that life isn’t just about surviving; it’s about THRIVING. Everyone’s out here living the same routine—work, uni, hang out, repeat. Yawn. Having hobbies, interests, and actual skills? That’s what makes you special girl. It’s like having your own secret world while everyone else is stuck on autopilot.

The Glow-Up Benefits

Mental Health Boost: Hobbies are like mental spa days. They reduce stress, fight off burnout, and give you that serotonin sparkle.

Confidence Builder: Nothing hits like the confidence boost of learning a new skill. Suddenly, you’re THAT girl who can paint, dance, or whip up a killer playlist.

Meet Your People: Join a hobby club or class, and boom—instant community. Forget awkward small talk, you’re bonding over shared passions.

Creative Energy: Your mind loves to play. Hobbies spark creativity, which spills into every part of your life, from problem-solving to personal style.

Hobbies for the Girlies Who Want It All

Journaling: Not just a diary, babe. Think manifestation, gratitude lists, mood tracking—your thoughts, but make them aesthetic.

Pilates or Yoga: Strong body, strong mind. Plus, the cute workout fits? Obsessed.

Baking: Whip up some sweet treats, because why not be the friend who always brings the vibes and the cookies?

Scrapbooking: Old school? Maybe. Therapeutic and fun? Absolutely.

Learning a New Language: Multilingual queen energy, anyone?

Thrifting and Upcycling: Turn fashion finds into one-of-a-kind pieces. Sustainable and stylish.

Photography: Capture your life like it’s an indie film. Bonus: Instagram-worthy content.

Pottery or Painting: Get messy, get creative, and make something with your own two hands.

Gardening (Even if It’s Just Houseplants): Plant mom vibes. Watch something grow because of you? Ugh, love it.

Your hobby doesn’t have to be perfect, productive, or profitable. It just has to make you feel alive. Life isn’t about doing everything perfectly—it’s about finding joy in the little things. So pick up that paintbrush, roll out that yoga mat, or start that playlist. Do it for YOU, queen. You deserve it.

Definitive Guide to Stop Checking Your Phone Compulsively

1. Set Specific Check-in Times – Limit phone checks to designated times, like after a relaxing activity or during breaks.

2. Keep Your Mind Busy – Engage in activities like reading, exercising, listening to music, or creative hobbies.

3. Practice Mindfulness & Breathing – When tempted, take deep breaths and remind yourself of your well-being goals.

4. Remember Your Purpose – Stay focused on your inner peace and personal growth.

5. Redefine Your Focus – Visualize how you want your day to end—calm and fulfilling.

6. Find Alternative Activities – Replace phone-checking with reading, journaling, or relaxing exercises.

7. Create “Phone-Free Zones” – Avoid your phone during meals, walks, or before bedtime to be more present.

8. Use Reminders & Affirmations – Place visible notes or phone reminders like “I choose peace over uncertainty.”

9. Take a Mental Pause – If overthinking, focus on your breath or something positive to regain clarity.

Building a Timeless Wardrobe: A Fashion Student’s Guide

Girl let’s be honest, the last thing you want is a closet full of random pieces that don’t make you feel amazing. Instead of mindlessly adding things to your cart, let’s focus on building a wardrobe that truly reflects you. A wardrobe that’s authentic, versatile, and just the right amount of chic. It’s not about having less; it’s about having what works for your vibe, your lifestyle, and your inner fashionista.

Building A Timeless Wardrobe: A Fashion Student’s Guide
Building A Timeless Wardrobe: A Fashion Student’s Guide
Building A Timeless Wardrobe: A Fashion Student’s Guide
Building A Timeless Wardrobe: A Fashion Student’s Guide

Step 1: Find Your Signature Style

Okay, let’s start with the fun part—figuring out what makes you feel amazing. What outfits give you that “I’m totally owning this” feeling? Which colors, fabrics, and shapes make you feel like the best version of yourself? Create a moodboard that’s not just about clothes, fill it with your favorite art, dreamy places, and things that make your heart skip a beat. Fashion is all about self-expression, so let your wardrobe tell your story!

Step 2: Give Your Closet a Real Heart-to-Heart

Before you shop, let’s get real about what you already own. What pieces are your absolute faves that you wear on repeat? What’s just sitting there, begging for a little love? Take a moment to figure out what’s working, what’s not, and what gaps need to be filled (hello, shopping spree).

Step 3: Tailor Your Wardrobe to Your Real Life

A wardrobe that works for you isn’t just cute, it’s practical. Think about your day-to-day. Do you need lots of looks for work, casual hangouts, or nights out with your girls? Your wardrobe should reflect your actual lifestyle, not some dream version of it.

Step 4: Choose Quality Over Clutter

Invest in pieces that’ll last you forever (and feel amazing every time you wear them). Quality doesn’t always mean expensive, it’s about finding pieces that feel luxe, with great fabric, stitching, and that perfect fit. A perfectly tailored blazer or the perfect pair of jeans will always feel way more chic than a closet full of impulse buys.

Step 5: Start with the Basics, Then Have Fun

Basics are the foundation of your wardrobe. A crisp white shirt, tailored trousers, a pair of classic jeans, and a jacket that goes with everything—those are your essential staples. Once those are covered, add in the fun stuff: the unique, flirty pieces that show off your personality and make your wardrobe pop.

Step 6: Shop with Purpose (Not Impulse)

Before you click add to cart, ask yourself: Does this piece go with what I already own? Can I wear it a bunch of different ways? Do I absolutely love it, or am I just caught up in the hype? Stay intentional, your wardrobe is about pieces you adore, not just things you feel like buying on a whim.

Step 7: Let Your Style Evolve (Because You Will)

Your style will change as you do, and that’s so exciting! Your intentional wardrobe isn’t static, it evolves with you as you grow. It’s not about perfection, it’s about building a wardrobe that’s true to you, now and forever.

An intentional wardrobe isn’t about rules or restrictions. It’s about embracing who you are, feeling confident in your choices, and wearing what makes you feel like the best version of yourself. As a fashion student, I’ve learned that style isn’t just about clothes, it’s how you wear them. So go ahead, embrace your wardrobe, and wear it like the boss you are.

Big Sister Advice Dating Addition 💋🌹🍷

Big Sister Advice Dating Addition 💋🌹🍷

Here is some of my big sister advice for dating!! Also I am just going to say I am a straight girl so all of this advice is going to be centered on dating men because that’s all I feel I can give advice on!

Don’t play hard to get actually be hard to get

GET A LIFE! BE BUSY!!!

The most interesting thing in your life should not be your dating life.

Get a hobby and have a social life that is not romantic.

You’ll have less time to stress about him not texting you and your self worth will be high because you are not basing it off of the attention you receive from men.

First dates should never be a dinner date on the weekend!

Never waste a weekend on what could be a terrible date with a dude.

Also dinner dates are really awkward and the silence gets so loud. I recommend doing a fun activity like bowling or mini golf. It will let you easy the first date jitters and make it less awkward when the conversation stops because you are doing something. Coffee dates are the same as dinner dates!

Also if you play a game with him on the first date you get to see if he is a sore loser or a mean winner which is a great red flag to catch immediately. No man should be insecure about you being better at a stupid game!!!!

No good guy is comfortable with a woman’s tears!!!!!!!

They should always check on you and make sure you are ok.

I knew my boyfriend was a keeper when he was very concerned that I started to cry cuz I was laughing too hard.

My dad always told me that if a man is comfortable seeing you cry about the small stuff then he is okay seeing you cry over him!

If he doesn’t ask consent for the small stuff then he won’t ask consent for the big stuff.

If the words “it’ll ruin the moment” ever leaves his lips leave immediately.

If you want princess treatment you can’t be shocked when you get it.

Obviously don’t be a bitch about it. But if he buys you flowers don’t be shocked or tell him you shouldn’t have!!!!

Be grateful and tell him you love it!!! POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT let him know when he makes you happy!!

Don’t let them know you are happy with the bare minimum. DONT BE HAPPY WITH THE BARE MINIMUM!

Be vocal in what you dislike

I had an older girl tell me in highschool that a woman’s “ewww” is the most powerful tool she has.

Because if a man cares about your opinion you being openly disgusted is the worst thing possible.

And if he doesn’t care about your opinion he will laugh or make you seem like you are being dramatic.

I also love a good “ I don’t find that funny actually” because then if he tells that joke again around you you’ll know or if he tells you to “lighten up”

How he talks about all women is how he will talk about you!

Even if he says you are “different” from other women eventually he is going to talk about you the same way.

If he calls other girls sluts and hoes the second you do something he doesn’t like he is going to call you that.

No women haters will actually love women!!!!!

Let there be distance in the relationship especially when it first starts.

If you’ve gone on one date you don’t need to text him everyday nor should you be worried if he doesn’t text you!!!

Even in long term relationships some days all you have time for is a good morning and a good night! And that’s ok!!!! Only worry if that’s happening a lot with no explanation.

If you want to date a man with his life together you also have to have your life together

Just like you wouldn’t date a man who does nothing but sit on his phone all day and has no life men are the same way.

Especially guys who have their life together because no one wants a partner who doesn’t fit in with their lifestyle.

✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦

Organisation = peace

Get yourself a planner, stick in all your to-do lists, make a vision board cover, write in everything you need to remember, want to think about or must complete. Or, get a Notion, make it aesthetic and build the habit of opening it every day. Use lots of light, blush pinks and pastel greens, make a colour-code and treat yourself to highlighters in your favourite colour combos. The better of an overview you have of your life, the less anxiety and stress the unknown brings you. Protect your peace.

✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦

Take time to rest

Make some matcha, reapply lip gloss, tidy your desk, let your hair down. Do some stretching or sit in the sun for some vitamin D. Put on classical music and write in your diary, decorate with pink highlighter and gold gel-pen stars. Make your timetable on Canva in your favourite aesthetic. Jog or jump rope to get your heart rate up, feel energised and refreshed.

✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦

Atmosphere

Light that vanilla-scented candle, get yourself a warm drink and some almonds, or grapes, or cookies. Put on some pink noise or soft instrumentals. Let the sunlight in. Put on a study with me, or a cute pomodoro timer on Youtube. Lay out your work and pens neatly.

✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦

Do your absolute best

Listen in class, make pretty notes. Sit up straight, ask and answer questions. Girl, just do your assignments the day they are assigned. Keep a spotless homework record. Use pink flashcards, do your past papers, write practice essays about things and stories you love. Keep your head up high, even if your grades don't match your standards. Keep improving and growing.

✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦

Why?

Study because you like expensive things. Study because you have a dream. Study because you yearn for knowledge. Do it because you love yourself and won't settle for anything but the best future. Do it for your family, so one day you can take your parents to Rome or Paris. Give your best so that your teachers can feel proud of themselves. Learn because you want to, not because you have to.

Ferulic Acid: Enhances antioxidant protection and stabilizes vitamin C.

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C): Brightens skin and fights free radical damage.

Common Mistakes When Using Skincare Acids

Using skincare acids can transform your skin, but when used incorrectly, they can cause irritation, sensitivity, or even worsen skin concerns. Here are some common mistakes to avoid:

1. Over-Exfoliating

Many people think using glycolic or salicylic acid daily will give them faster results, but excessive exfoliation weakens the skin barrier. This can lead to redness, peeling, breakouts, and sensitivity. (especially for oily skin)

Solution: Use exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs) 2-3 times per week and always listen to your skin. If it feels irritated, take a break pleaaase

2. Skipping Sunscreen

Acids like glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acid increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Without SPF, you risk sunburn, premature aging, and even worsening of dark spots.

Solution: Always use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily when using serums with those acids.

3. Mixing the Wrong Acids

Not all acids work well together. Using too many active ingredients in one routine can cause irritation.

🔴 Examples of bad combinations:

Vitamin C + AHAs/BHAs → Can cause irritation and weaken Vitamin C’s effectiveness.

Retinol + AHAs/BHAs → Too harsh on the skin, leading to peeling and sensitivity. (by experience 💁🏻‍♀️)

Niacinamide + Vitamin C (unless properly formulated) → Can cause flushing or reduce effectiveness.

Solution: Use exfoliating acids on alternate days and simplify your routine to avoid irritation.

4. Not Hydrating Properly

Exfoliating acids remove dead skin cells but can also strip away moisture. Without proper hydration, the skin can feel tight, dry, or irritated.

Solution: After using acids, apply thick a moisturizer to maintain balance especially if the acids dry ur skin so fast

How to Stop Comparing Yourself & Become Obsessed with Yourself

How To Stop Comparing Yourself & Become Obsessed With Yourself
How To Stop Comparing Yourself & Become Obsessed With Yourself

Okay, let’s get real. If you’re constantly comparing yourself to others, it’s time to break the habit and start focusing on what you want. The key to unlocking your most confident, successful self isn’t about envying others—it’s about using that energy to obsess over your own growth. Ready to start living your best life? Here’s how to ditch the comparison game and become your own biggest fan.

1. Jealousy = Desire. Turn it into your power move. First of all, jealousy isn’t the problem—it’s how you use it that counts. When you feel envious of someone, it’s actually a sign that they have something you want. Instead of spiraling, turn that jealousy into motivation. Want their style? Their career? Their glow-up? That’s your cue to start making it happen for yourself.

Action Steps:

Identify what’s sparking the jealousy. Is it their confidence, career, or lifestyle?

Take a mental note of exactly what you want from their vibe.

Now, turn that feeling into goals. Make a list of what you want and how you’re going to get there. Start working on those goals today, and you’ll be on the path to achieving your desires—without the comparison game.

2. Make self-love your obsession. Self-love isn’t just a trend—it’s the foundation of every confident, successful “it girl” vibe. Your routine should be all about you, honey. Create a daily self-love habit that fills you with positive energy and makes you feel like the queen you are.

Action Steps:

Morning Rituals: Begin your day by setting the tone. Whether it’s writing down affirmations, sipping on lemon water, or practicing some deep breaths—give yourself a good start.

Mental Health TLC: Meditate or journal for 10 minutes each day. Focus on gratitude and remind yourself of your worth.

Body Love: Treat your body like the temple it is. Get moving (dance party, anyone?), drink water, and invest in that skincare routine. A face mask or a bubble bath at the end of the day? Absolutely.

3. Turn Your Energy Into Your Personal Brand. You’re not just a person—you’re a brand. And, like every successful brand, your vibe needs to be on point. Start channeling that energy into building a personal identity that screams confidence, ambition, and success. When you start focusing on what makes you unique, comparison will feel like a thing of the past.

Action Steps:

Define Your Brand: Write down what you want to be known for. What makes you stand out? Is it your chic style? Your brilliant ideas? Your hustle?

Create Consistent Content: Whether it’s posting on social or just being yourself IRL, curate your energy and your image. Share your passions, your story, and your journey.

Presence is Everything: Dress in a way that makes you feel like a million bucks. Stand tall, speak with conviction, and show the world that you own your space.

4. Quiet Confidence is the New Loud. The loudest person in the room doesn’t always win—quiet confidence is what draws people in. Be secure in who you are, and let your presence speak for itself. The best “it girls” don’t need to shout—they simply are.

Action Steps:

Set Boundaries: Protect your energy. Say no to things and people that don’t serve you.

Lead by Example: Be the girl who stays true to her goals without seeking validation. The more you trust yourself, the more others will follow your lead.

Master Your Craft: Whether it’s learning a new skill or becoming the best at what you do, focus on growth without the need for applause. When you shine quietly, it’s magnetic.

Being obsessed with yourself isn’t vanity—it’s self-respect. Prioritize your growth, and watch how the universe responds to that magnetic energy. You’re not just an “it girl”—you’re the girl.

The It Girl Nighttime Routine: Wake Up Chic and Radiant 🌹🕊️

Every chic woman knows that a captivating day starts the night before. This routine is all about luxurious self-care – because waking up as the most poised, radiant version of yourself is a lifestyle. Ready to transform your evening into an elegant ritual? Let’s step into your new, elevated bedtime routine.

The It Girl Nighttime Routine: Wake Up Chic And Radiant 🌹🕊️
The It Girl Nighttime Routine: Wake Up Chic And Radiant 🌹🕊️
The It Girl Nighttime Routine: Wake Up Chic And Radiant 🌹🕊️

Create an Atmosphere: Begin by setting a serene mood. Dim the lights, light a sophisticated candle (think notes of sandalwood or bergamot), and play a calming jazz playlist. This is your time to unwind and transition into a world of serenity.

Sophisticated Cleansing: Start with a cleansing oil to melt away makeup and daily grime. Rinse it off, then follow with a gentle, hydrating cleanser. This double cleanse is like a reset button, leaving your skin ready for its nighttime restoration.

The Hydration Layer: Pat on a luxurious serum – hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, or a skin-renewing elixir. Then, apply a rich night cream. Imagine each layer as a silk robe for your skin, nurturing and hydrating it while you sleep.

Elevated Facial Massage: Use a jade roller or gua sha to massage in your serum. Not only is this relaxing, but it boosts circulation and helps define your natural contours. It’s a moment of quiet elegance – a way to remind yourself of your own grace.

Silk Essentials: Swap your pillowcase for silk. It’s gentle on your skin and hair, reducing friction while you sleep. A chic woman wakes up with smooth skin and effortless hair – because beauty is in the details.

Hair Ritual: Before bed, brush your hair and apply a touch of light hair oil to the ends. Twist it into a low bun or a loose braid for natural waves. It’s a simple yet sophisticated way to keep your hair looking polished in the morning.

The Nightcap: Pour yourself a cup of herbal tea – chamomile, peppermint, or lavender. Sip slowly, feeling the warmth relax your body. A classy woman indulges in these small, soothing rituals to unwind and replenish.

Outfit Planning: Select tomorrow's outfit with intention. Choose pieces that make you feel confident and chic, whether it’s a tailored blazer or that perfect little black dress. Lay everything out: jewelry, shoes, and bag – so your morning flows seamlessly.

Screen Detox: Put your phone on “Do Not Disturb” mode at least 30 minutes before bed. In this quiet time, you’re choosing presence and grace over endless scrolling.

Read Something Timeless: Replace your screen with a classic book or an inspiring magazine. This is how chic women nurture their minds and escape into elegance before drifting off.

Visualize Tomorrow: As you close your eyes, picture yourself waking up refreshed, glowing, and composed. See yourself moving through the day with grace and poise. You’re setting the stage for a day where everything aligns effortlessly.
